Superior Air Charter operates a fleet of three Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft.

Valiair has announced completion of its acquisition of Dallas-based Superior Air Charter.

The transaction, closed in February 2026, transfers three Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft, seven crew members and the operation’s management team to a subsidiary of Valiair.

“This acquisition is an important step for Valiair’s charter division’s growth in the very light jet segment,” Marco Reininger, CEO of Valiair. “Dallas is a strategic operating location that positions us to serve the Texas market, and this crew and management team bring decades of operational excellence that align perfectly with our standards.”

Valiair will operate Superior Air Charter in tandem with Nextair, a Tennessee–headquartered Part 135 charter operation also within its portfolio. Together, the two operations expand Valiair’s charter fleet capabilities and geographic reach across the light and very light jet categories.

Onward Jets, which had operated as an exclusive marketing agent for Nextair, will serve as the charter broker marketing both operations.

The news follows Valiair’s acquisition of Southern Aircraft Consultancy Inc (SACI) back in January.

At the time, the FAA declared the registrations of 803 aircraft “invalid” and instructed aircraft trust firm SACI to surrender all the certificates within 21 days. This meant more than 700 aircraft were grounded and could not legally operate until they have been re-registered.

Following the action, SACI reached out to Valiair with an offer to acquire it in full. The deal was completed in days and all SACI operations were transferred to the US.
