Bombardier brings Global 8000 to South America for first time at Catarina Aviation Show

The Global 8000, which holds a top speed of Mach 0.95 and a range of 8,000 nautical miles, will be available for tours at the show.

Bombardier’s Global 8000 will make its South American debut at the Catarina Aviation Show in São Paulo, Brazil from May 21st to 23rd. The manufacturer’s Global 6500 and Challenger 3500 will also be on display at the event.

The Global 8000, which holds a top speed of Mach 0.95 and a range of 8,000 nautical miles, will be available for tours at the show.

The aircraft can reach destinations including Perth, Vancouver and Dubai non-stop from São Paulo. The jet also features the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation production at 2,691ft while cruising at 41,000 ft and its advanced wing design is said to enable access to up to 30% more airports than its closest rival.

The Global 6500, with a top speed of Mach 0.90 and range of 6,600 nautical miles, connects São Paulo to destinations including London, Aspen and Lagos. The Challenger 3500, the most-delivered super mid-size business jet in 2025 at almost double the volume of its nearest competitor, offers a range of 3,400 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.83.

The company also highlighted its regional service network, including the Authorised Service Facility MAGA Aviation at Catarina Airport, which provides line maintenance, parts and tooling for Global, Challenger and Learjet aircraft, as well as its full-service Miami Opa-Locka Service Centre spanning 300,000 sqft.
