SyberJet Aircraft will debut a full-scale mockup of its new SJ36 light business jet on October 19, 2026, at Henderson Executive Airport in Nevada during NBAA-BACE week.

The nine-seat aircraft is the company’s most ambitious programme to date and targets performance figures the manufacturer claims would set category records.

The SJ36 is designed for transcontinental range, up to 3,000nm non-stop, and a top speed of Mach 0.88, both of which SyberJet says would be records for a light jet.

The aircraft also targets sea-level cabin pressurisation at cruising altitudes up to 41,000ft. The company says coast-to-coast operating costs would run 50 to 70% below a comparable midsize charter.

“There has never been a light jet capable of flying up to Mach 0.88 and up to 3,000 nautical miles non-stop while maintaining sea-level cabin pressure up to 41,000ft,” said CEO Trevor Milton. “You no longer need a $100,000 midsize charter to fly coast to coast – the SJ36 can do it for 50 to 70% less.”

Planned features include SyberJet’s proprietary SyberVision glass cockpit, a zero-emission APU for quiet ground operations, over-the-air software updates, and flight plan uploads direct from a mobile device.

The programme traces its development roots back to 1986.

The unveiling event, branded SyberJet World 2026, will include a presentation from the company’s executive team on the design vision, programme roadmap and an early-owner incentive program.

No certification timeline or entry-into-service target was announced.
