French Navy receives first of three PC-24s from Jet Aviation

Delivery of the remaining aircraft will follow in subsequent phases, the company said in a press release.
The French Navy has taken delivery of the first of three Pilatus PC-24 aircraft, purchased on its behalf by Jet Aviation France.
The delivery is part of a contract inked late last year between Jet Aviation France and the Direction de la Maintenance Aéronautique (DMAé), covering aircraft acquisition, leasing and sustainment.
As part of the deal, Jet Aviation will provide an on-site team dedicated to supporting the fleet with maintenance and continuation of airworthiness management (CAMO).
“I was very proud to see the first of these three aircraft delivered,” said Jeremie Caillet, president, Jet Aviation. “This is the culmination of many months of collaboration and partnership between our team, the DMAé and Pilatus, and it has been a privilege to work together to bring these aircraft into service. This programme reflects Jet Aviation’s continued commitment to evolving our services to meet the needs of our customers. By bringing together aircraft ownership, leasing and sustainment within a single solution, we deliver seamless support tailored to the specific operational requirements of the French Navy fleet.”
The aircraft, known as the PC-24 Super Versatile Jet, will primarily be used for pilot training, including instrument flight training and periodic proficiency checks, as well as the transport of urgent cargo.
“Jet Aviation has a long history of supporting governmental customers,” said Fabien Fuster, vice president government services EMEA at Jet Aviation. “We bring some 60 years of maintenance expertise including some four decades providing dedicated support to governmental fleets. Our team has been working with the squadron on-site to establish the personnel, tooling, infrastructure and processes required to provide seamless maintenance and airworthiness support, and we look forward to continuing to work together closely with the French Navy and Pilatus to ensure the ongoing mission success of the fleet.”
Back in January, Jet Aviation provided sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to aircraft during the World Economic Forum being held in Davos, marking the fifth year the company has supported SAF availability in Zurich.
