Irvine, California-based FlightPath3D announced the launch of BizAvStudio to map configuration details for aircraft manufacturers, completion centres, owners and flight departments.

The company said this gives private jet owners direct control over how the FlightPath3D inflight map appears and behaves onboard private and business aircraft.

This new configuration allows aircraft manufacturers, completion centres and flight departments to control branding, map presentation, flight data displays and geopolitical settings across the full aircraft lifecycle.

FlightPath3D said the studio also provides a view of how cabin looks or behaves once the aircraft leaves the completion center. It also enables operators to modify branding, add owner logo, configure flight information displays, and adjust geopolitical settings without requiring software updates, engineering support, or vendor intervention.

Changes can be applied in minutes, including while the aircraft is in service.

“BizAvStudio is not a feature; it is a new operational model,” explained Duncan Jackson, President of FlightPath3D. “Configuration is no longer something that happens once at delivery. It’s something operators own for the life of the aircraft.”

The company said its maps are used on more than 1,500 private aircraft worldwide with Textron using it for their new Citation deliveries and Gogo embedding the map into its Gogo Vision platform.

“Owners and operators already control every element of the private jet cabin experience, from interior design to catering to connectivity,” added Howie Lewis, vice president Business Aviation for FlightPath3D. “The inflight map was the last piece they couldn’t touch. That’s no longer the case.”
