Cessna gives update on Citation Ten progress
First flight by year end and has new interior on display at NBAA
Cessna Aircraft said at the NBAA that the
Citation Ten programme is on track for first flight by year-end and deliveries
are planned for the second half of 2013.
A mock-up of the Ten is featured at the
Cessna exhibition stand with a fresh new interior color scheme. Customers are
able to choose the interior stylings that best fit their needs and personality.
The mock-up also features a functioning Garmin G5000 avionics system as well as
a preview of Clairity, Cessna’s proprietary cabin technology solution.
“The Citation Ten mock-up with the new
interior really showcases the broad range of designs we can offer to our
customers, everything from bright and modern, to dark and traditional or
anything in between,” said Kelly Reich, business leader for the Cessna Citation
X and Ten. “We are excited about getting the Ten certified and into service so
we can take the world’s fastest certified civil aircraft up a notch.”
