Saudi Arabian company to manage to new-build Airbus, an ACJ319 and A319 on behalf of two customers

Aviation Link Airbus at ACJCAviation Link based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is to manage two new-build Airbus
VIP aircraft, an ACJ319 and an A319, on behalf of two customers, adding to the
already extensive fleet of Airbus corporate jets in the Middle
East.

Both aircraft will have their cabins outfitted by the Airbus Corporate
Jet Centre in Toulouse,
with delivery of the completed aircraft planned for the second half of 2012.

“Aviation Link
has gained a reputation as the “go to” company for clients seeking large and
very large cabin aircraft,” says Aviation Link president and chief executive
Abdulaziz Al Rowaished. So when we received two requests for single-aisle
aircraft earlier this year, based on our long and successful experience
managing an Airbus ACJ320, our natural choice was the ACJ319, which we
identified as the best aircraft to meet the specific requests we had for
comfort, space and range from Middle East. Our
long and successful relationship with Airbus, plus our experience with it on
previous projects, enabled the transactions to be closed quickly and smoothly,
to the full satisfaction of our customers,” he adds.

“The
Middle East is one of the largest and most discerning markets for business
jets, as well as one in which Airbus corporate jets have a strong presence, so
it is good to be able to announce new business in the region,” comments Airbus
chief operating officer, customers John Leahy. “Airbus corporate jets have the
widest and tallest cabin of any business jet and, as more and more customers
recognize the benefits of this, our fleet will continue to grow, both in the Middle East and worldwide,” he adds.
