Bombardier delivers first Global 8000 to NetJets

Bombardier has delivered the first of its Global 8000 aircraft to fleet launch customer NetJets.
The aircraft represents the first of NetJets planned fleet of 24 Global 8000 jets. It plans to upgrade its entire in-service fleet of Global 7500 aircraft to the 8000 model.
The Global 8000 has a range of 8,000NM (16.75 hours) and a top speed of Mach 0.95 (627 miles per hour), making it the fastest civil aircraft since Concorde.

The aircraft was handed over in a ceremony in front of employees of both Bombardier and NetJets at Bombardier’s Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre in Dorval, Québec.
