Bombardier to send Challenger 3500s to Saudi Arabia

The Bombardier Challenger 3500 has a range of 3,400 nautical miles.
Bombardier is set to deliver its first three Challenger 3500 aircraft to Saudi Arabia for Aloula Aviation.
The super midsize jet for up to 10 passengers has a range of 3,400 nautical miles (6,297km) and a top speed of Mach 0.83.
It was chosen as being the “pinnacle of innovation, comfort and performance, perfectly aligning with our commitment to provide the best travel experience,” according to Aloula Aviation’s CEO Khalid Hassan Alnatour.
“The business jet market in the Middle East is thriving, and we are witnessing a significant increase in demand for super midsize aircraft, particularly for travel within the region and to Europe,” said Éric Martel, president and CEO, Bombardier.
“Bombardier and Aloula Aviation both share an unwavering commitment to excellence, and the Challenger 3500 will surpass their expectations on every front. As Saudi Arabia continues its bold path laid out in the Vision 2030 plan, we are proud to support Aloula Aviation with this significant addition to their fleet, and the region’s growing aviation hub.”
From Saudi Arabia, the Challenger 3500 is capable of non-stop flights to destinations such as Paris, Geneva and New Delhi.
Hassan Alnatour added: “We look forward to the many opportunities these jets will bring to our operations.”
Aloula was the first aviation company in Saudi Arabia and the second in the Middle East. It was established in 1934 under the name Saudi Aramco Aviation with the core mission of oil exploration. From its headquarters in Dammam it operates more than 60 aircraft, regularly serving 18 airports across Saudi Arabia, nine of which Aloula manages and operates.
