André Bernstein has led Solojet Aviação since 2013. An entrepreneur who began his career in aircraft trading, he was born into aviation, following the path of his father and grandfather, founders of Japi Aeronaves, an aircraft maintenance company. Under his leadership, Solojet has become a standout player in Brazil’s business aviation market, delivering high-quality services and innovative solutions to aircraft owners and operators. Bernstein combined his family’s strong maintenance background with a client-centric service model focused on private aircraft operations.
In 2021, he was among the first Brazilian aviation entrepreneurs to introduce fractional aircraft ownership to the country — a model in which an aircraft is shared by up to four owners, who pay only for the flight hours flown. This model has been established in the United States for nearly 30 years. Today, Solojet operates five jets dedicated to fractional ownership programs and continues to expand both in Brazil and internationally.
