DC Aviation appoints Andreas Stegemann as accountable manager

DC Aviation has appointed Andreas Stegemann as accountable manager following clearance from the German Federal Aviation Authority. 

Stegemann succeeds Stuart Burrows, who will retire on May 1st. 

“I am looking forward to this new role and to shaping the company’s future together with Marc Ambrosius and Svenja Wortmann on the executive team, as well as our highly qualified and dedicated employees,” Stegemann said.

Joining DC Aviation in 2012, Stegemann has held various leadership roles, most recently as vice president of ground operations. As accountable manager Stegemann will oversee compliance and safety related to the company’s flight operations. 

Marc Ambrosius, MD of DC Aviation, said, “With Andreas Stegemann, we are gaining an extremely experienced and respected leader for this key position. His extensive expertise and deep understanding of the demands of business aviation, as well as DC Aviation’s commitment to quality, make him the ideal candidate. DC Aviation offers aircraft management, charter, maintenance and FBO and handling services. 

The company will be at AERO Friedrichshafen later this month, it has a booth in Dome 8.
