Airclaims is opening a new Middle East office to be headed by David Bickerton.

Airclaims is opening a new Middle East office, being headed by David Bickerton. From July 2012, Bickerton will be relocating to the Middle East to set up and manage the new office. He will have overall responsibility for developing business with the local and international aviation insurance markets throughout the region and this will extend to East Africa and the Southern CIS states.

John Bayley has been promoted to the position of director of claims UK and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the London Survey group. John joined Airclaims in 1998 and has been supporting David in the running of the team for the last three years.

Paul Clark, group director, claims commented “This is an important strategic step in the development of our business. David has excellent credentials to accomplish this role and we are confident that it will bring a new dimension to our services in this region. In John Bayley, we have a highly experienced and capable successor, who has significant experience of both claims management practice and the Airclaims business.”

Mark Hunter, chief executive officer added “I am extremely excited about our expansion into the Middle East. With the addition of this resource in the region, Airclaims will now have a local office presence in every major continent.
