Air Partner CEO and Chairman volunteer in vaccine delivery programme
1 March 2021 – Gatwick-based global aviation services provider Air Partner played its part during the response to the Covid-19 pandemic, working with its clients to ensure essential goods and critical PPE consignments were delivered, as well as being involved in the evacuation and repatriation of people, when the pandemic was first declared.
Now with the roll-out of the Covid vaccination programme, Mark Briffa, CEO and Ed Warner, Chairman of Air Partner have dedicated their free time volunteering at the vaccination centre at Christ’s Hospital, Horsham. Working as part of a team of volunteers organised by Horsham District Council, Mark and Ed were on duty in the car park, monitoring and organising the parking facilities, helping to ensure a safe and efficient experience for all.
The company is committed to supporting those in need in its local communities and last year partnered with FareShare Sussex, a charity working to combat both food waste and food poverty by redistributing food-industry surplus to those most in need.
Mark Briffa said: “I am extremely proud of the work Air Partner has done this year playing our part in the global response to the Covid-19 pandemic and it has been a real privilege to be part of the team delivering the vaccination programme here in our own community.”
