“Hello, how are you? And, how’s your internet connection?” Questions about the strength of your Wi-Fi bandwidth have become almost second nature; as spare rooms, garden sheds and kitchen tables across the globe have been transformed into makeshift offices.

A key part of this process has been video conferencing – the ability to communicate with colleagues in the next county, the next state or on a different continent. At its best, video conferencing has the power to connect people and businesses stymied by the Covid-19 global pandemic. Take for example our CJI Global 2020 conference, staged on Wednesday July 8th.

This 12-hour virtual conference assembled a stellar cast of speakers from the world of business aviation to take the temperature of the sector post Covid-19. From aircraft brokers and operators, to OEMs, private charter firms, lawyers and insurance specialists, if it matters to business aviation, the topic was identified, dissected and analysed by our 140-plus speakers, more than 700 participants on the platform and more than 4,000 viewers online (so far).

During over 30 hours of content, key questions ranged from the shape of the recovery in business aviation to whether new entrants would help to offset the business lost to reduced corporate flying? How important will sustainability be for customers and what is likely to be the impact on pre-owned aircraft prices? And much more.

Have a good week. And may your broadband stay strong.
