West Star promotes Jeff Messmer to support its Perryville operations

Messmer has decades of maintenance, repair and overhaul experience and will support customers with technical evaluations, maintenance planning, modifications and refurbishment projects.
West Star Aviation has named Jeff Messmer manager of technical sales to support the company’s operations at Perryville Regional Airport, Missouri.
This September, Messmer will mark 15 years with West Star Aviation. The company said his promotion reflects not only his long-standing dedication, but also the trust he has built with customers and colleagues throughout his career.
In his new role, Messmer will work closely with customers on technical evaluations, airframe modifications, maintenance planning and refurbishment projects.
Messmer’s aviation career began in the US Army, where he served for six years as an aircraft structural technician and as a Desert Shield veteran.
Over the years, Messmer has continued to expand his expertise through hands-on work and specialised training across major airframes, including the Gulfstream III, Falcon 2000EX and Learjet 45/45XR.
The promotion is the latest in a series of appointments at West Star Aviation. Back in February the firm hired Brian Howell as chief commercial officer. A month or so earlier, the company appointed William Morris as general counsel, an industry veteran with more than 20 years of legal experience in aviation.
