Vista, the private aviation group, has promoted Daniele Deiana to president, UK & Ireland, effective immediately.

Deiana joined Vista in 2020 as executive vice president, UK & Ireland, after nearly 20 years in the aviation industry, having started his career in finance before moving into sales leadership roles.

In his previous role at Vista, he was responsible for commercial strategy and team development, and the company said he played a central role in growing the business in one of its most strategically important markets.

“Private aviation is an industry built on trust, discretion and certainty – our clients operate at extraordinary levels, and the relationship is always long-term and deeply personal,” Deiana said.

“As private aviation shifts to become a strategic business tool we become advisors, understanding how and why they travel and what certainty means to them. I’m proud to take on this new role and to keep building on the momentum we’ve created in the UK and Ireland developing these trusted relationships.”

Francesca Swan, chief strategy officer at Vista, said Deiana’s promotion reflected the growth the company is driving across the UK and Ireland.
