Shaan Bhanji joins Fast Air as VP growth and strategy
Shaan Bhanji, the founder of charter marketplace FlyEasy, has joined Canadian operator Fast Air. He joins as vice president of growth and strategy.
Bhanji, a digital pioneer, launched FlyEasy an Avinode competitor in 2014. He sold it to Directional Aviation’s Tuvoli spin-off in 2020. Before launching FlyEasy he worked at Bombardier managing NetJet’s large order with the manufacturer.
Fast Air has an air charter fleet of 30 jets and turboprops with headquarters at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. It also has bases at Abbotsford International Airport, and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
The operator is looking to use technology and digital marketing to grow its charter, aircraft management, air ambulance and FBO markets. Fast Air is looking at launching a private shuttle.

Bhanji is looking at new models for the operator.

Bhanji has two children with another due in the next few weeks.
