Lifestyle brand Magnifica is raising funds for a scheduled airline that bridges the gap between commercial first class and private aviation.

Magnifica Air, which is set to launch in late 2027, has already secured key investors for the venture which it claims will significantly reduce environmental impact.

The flights will be powered by 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) at launch and 100% by 2030.

The airline will prioritise technology for improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, alongside advanced navigation systems for optimised flight paths and speeds.

The company says it will target travellers with assets between $100,000 and $5m, who “represent a significant underserved segment with unmet needs in premium air travel options”.

It says it will offer a “private jet-like experience” at about a third of the typical cost, with private VIP lounges and departure gates, concierge service, gourmet dining and private suites with room for up to four.

The airline will begin with a fleet of 14 aircraft dedicated to six primary markets. The company says it will achieve profitability at a load factor of just 40%, a significantly lower threshold than that of other commercial airlines.

“Magnifica Air aims to create a new standard for premium air travel, with a focus on sustainability, exclusivity and a deeper connection to what matters most,” said Wade Black, CEO of Magnifica Air.

“We understand that today’s families are looking for more than building wealth — they want meaningful experiences that reflect their values. Magnifica Air is here to support that.”
