A Bombardier Global 6000 has joined Luxaviation UK's fleet.

Luxaviation UK has added a Bombardier Global 6000 to its fleet. Based in both London and Paris, the aircraft will be available for charter, according to the company, which revealed the addition at The Air Charter Association’s Air Charter Expo (ACE’24) event at London Biggin Hill Airport.

The aircraft holds steep-approach certification, enabling it to operate out of challenging airports.

Accommodating up to 12 passengers, the Global 6000 has top speeds of nearly 11,000 km/h and a nonstop range of 6,000 nautical miles (11,112 km). This makes the aircraft suitable for popular intercontinental routes such as Paris to Los Angeles, London to Cape Town and London to New Delhi, said Luxaviation.

George Galanopoulos, CEO, Luxaviation UK said the the Global 6000 was a “a fantastic addition”  to its fleet. The company had a longstanding partnership of more than 10 years with the aircraft’s owner.

“This aircraft combines speed, efficiency and comfort to cultivate a superior flying experience for everyone on board,”  he said. “Its cabin measures almost a foot wider than the nearest competitor, ensuring ample room for passengers and crew to move around safely and comfortably, even at full capacity. It also offers fast and reliable inflight connectivity, catering to all business and leisure needs.”

Patrick Hansen, CEO,  Luxaviation Group, added: “We’re always seeking opportunities to innovate and expand; the addition of the Global 6000 reflects Luxaviation’s dedication to providing the best for our clients.”

Meanwhile, last July the business aircraft and FBO operator launched its 2023 sustainability report.
