Jet Edge partners with Allianz to offer charter travel insurance

Jet Edge International has partnered with Allianz Partners to offer charter clients travel insurance going into the busy holiday season. The partnership makes Jet Edge one of the first private aviation operators to offer travel insurance products that reimburse losses for covered trip cancellations or interruptions, as well as medical emergencies.

“At Jet Edge International, our business has succeeded through a distinct focus on safety and security as well as always putting our passengers first,” said Gary Waldman, Chief Business Development Officer at Jet Edge International. “We are proud to partner with Allianz Partners to offer a travel insurance program for our charter services that ensures that Jet Edge clients can protect their travel investment when flying during the holidays and beyond.”

Allianz Partners is also temporarily accommodating claims for otherwise covered losses for cancellations, interruptions, or medical emergencies should an insured client become ill with Covid-19, either before or during their trip. The travel insurance is also valid worldwide said Jet Edge.

Allianz Travel Insurance customers also have access to its mobile app, TravelSmart, which provides on-the-go policy information, the ability to file claims from a smart phone and reach Allianz’s travel assistance team.

Separately, Jet Edge has also partnered with Redline Assured Security to implement Covid-19 health and safety protocols. In addition, the company is committed to testing crew members regularly for Covid-19 and has also developed rapid testing partnerships.
