Jet Aviation Zurich signs fuel deal with the Lufthansa Group

Jet Aviation Zurich recently signed an agreement with the Lufthansa Group to provide high-volume fuel uplifts through docked dispenser fueling.

As part of its agreement with Lufthansa, Jet Aviation Zurich purchased two new dispenser trucks and hired five new truck operators and sent three refueling operators to Frankfurt, Germany, for dispenser training.‎

“Our goal is to seamlessly ensure the highest safety standards for our customers and all of our dedicated staff has completed dispenser fuel training. They have specifically been trained to securely attach our new hydrant dispenser trucks to an underground fuel pipeline system through which fuel is quickly dispensed to the aircraft,” Brechbühl added.

Since beginning its service in January 2016, Jet Aviation Zurich has already dispensed 8.9 million litres of Jet A-1 fuel.
