Business jet interior completions specialist Greenpoint Technologies has delivered its ninth Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 787 on schedule following a maintenance and refurbishment programme.

A subsidiary of Safran, Greenpoint Technologies completed several cabin modifications and interior upgrades to the aircraft at its facility in Moses Lake, Washington.

“We are honoured by the trust our clients place in us with their aircraft,” said Klaus Koester, CEO of Greenpoint Technologies. “This successful on-time delivery demonstrates our expanding maintenance capabilities and deep expertise with the BBJ 787 airframe. More importantly, it reflects our commitment to supporting our clients throughout the entire lifecycle of their aircraft – through personalised solutions, completions, modifications and complex maintenance events.”

With nine under its belt, Greenpoint has delivered a record number of BBJ 787 interior completions and maintenance programmes, including several within the past year.

The company also work on other BBJ aircraft including the MAX 8. Back in April 2021, Greenpoint took delivery of a BBJ MAX 8 from Boeing at the request of a client because of the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Following the delivery, Greenpoint assisted with repositioning the aircraft for auxiliary fuel tank installation, and then inducted it into its Moses Lake facility.
