Embraer deliveries down in Q4 2020
Embraer delivered 43 executive jets (23 light and 20 large) in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2020, down 10 on the same period in 2019. The Brazilian OEM delivered a total of 130 jets last year , including 44 commercial aircraft and 86 executive jets (56 light and 30 large), a near 35% decrease compared withb 2019, when 198 jets were delivered.
Although deliveries picked up in Q4 2020, they were heavily impacted, mostly on the commercial side, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As of December 31st, the order backlog totalled $14.4bn.
During the past quarter, Embraer Executive Jets delivered the first of the Praetor 600 fleet to Flexjet, the fleet’s launch customer. And it launched a collaboration with Porsche to create Duet, a Phenom 300E and Porsche 911 TurboS supercar pairing.
Embraer also announced the completion and delivery of the first European conversion of a Legacy 450 to a Praetor 500. The conversion was performed at the Embraer Executive Jets Service Center at Le Bourget International Airport, Paris.
