Credit rating agency Standard & Poor’s have upgraded Embraer’s rating to ‘BBB’ from ‘BBB-‘.

On June 4 2013, Standard & Poor’s rating services raised its credit rating for Embraer, increasing its corporate credit rating to ‘BBB’ from ‘BBB-‘.

Standard & Poor’s also noted that the outlook is stable reflecting the expectation that Embraer will continue to present strong credit metrics and improve backlog as it benefits from the recovery in the regional airline routes with its competitive range of products.

The upgrade also reflects the Company’s strong operating performance, confirming that it can maintain efficient operations and stable margins while capturing new opportunities in the commercial aviation segment.
