Avfuel adds Midcoast Regional Airport to list of FBOs
Joint use civil/military airfield now part of the Avfuel family
Midcoast Regional Airport
now offers Avfuel products at its FBO. Conveniently between Charleston,
SC and Jacksonville,
FL, Midcoast
Regional Airport
opened in November 2007. Situated within Fort
Stewart, the largest Army installation
east of the Mississippi River, the airport is one of only 23 joint-use
civilian/military airports in the United States.
“I’ve been a pilot for over 41 years,” said Midcoast Regional
Airport general manager
Charlie Martin, “and I feel that my experiences as a pilot, aircraft
owner, and visitor of many FBOs keep me and my staff a step ahead of pilots’
needs and expectations.” To that end, pilots have access to quiet snooze
rooms, showers, flight planning facilities, crew cars and refreshments, among
other amenities. The staff and crew of Midcoast Regional
Airport are always ready
to assist with any questions or guest needs. “Small acts of kindness go a
long way,” said Martin. “Our main goal is to make our guests feel
welcome; to feel at home.”
“The effortless service and attention to detail on the part of Midcoast Regional Airport
are crucial to delivering a positive FBO experience,” said Avfuel director
of marketing Marci Ammerman. “Avfuel is honored that our products and
solutions are in line with Midcoast’s goals and vision.”
