Mark is ranked as a Band 1 individual in Private Aircraft (Global-wide) in Chambers High Net Worth, and Clyde & Co is similarly first-ranked. Spear’s Magazine describes Mark as an “eminence grise” of business aviation.
Mark also has extensive aviation regulatory experience, including recently extensive advice on Russian sanctions. Mark led the Clyde & Co team which in January 2018 published the report “Brexit scenarios for business aviation” for the EBAA.
Mark is contributing editor of the annual publication “Getting the Deal Through – Aviation Finance and Leasing”.

James Carroll

James Carroll is part of Duncan Aviation’s Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions team, representing international clients in the purchase and sale of business aircraft. Based in the UK, and with the backing of Duncan Aviation’s global network, market intelligence, and comprehensive in-house capabilities, he supports clients through the complexities of business jet transactions.

Prior to this, James held the position of Head of MRO Sales for Gama Aviation, overseeing the Sales team within the group for Base and Line maintenance on both fixed wing and rotary aircraft. Working from Gama Aviation’s main maintenance facility at Bournemouth Airport in the UK, its Farnborough Headquarters, and its new flagship UAE facility in Sharjah, James also represented Gama Aviation at industry events and promoted the brand worldwide. During his time at Gama Aviation, James sold both small and heavy maintenance checks, aircraft upgrades, and oversaw a number of pre-purchase Inspections for buyers, sellers, and brokers.

Previously, James worked for Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI®), for 14 years implementing and overseeing sales initiatives, developing relationships, and promoting JSSI programs and services throughout Western Europe. He also worked in Account Management advising on financial and contractual problems and overseeing the transfer of programs at aircraft re-sale.

James started his aviation career at BAA Heathrow where he was promoted to Duty Manager of Terminal 4 and then held the position of Crisis Manager for the online travel company lastminute.com. James holds a BA Honours Degree in French and Spanish, is an accredited Senior Aircraft Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers, serves on the Board of Directors for the British Business & General Aviation Association, and enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family in his spare time.

David Hernandez

Chris Miller

Mr. Miller has extensive as an expert in global asset-based financing, specializing in private debt financing for business jets and utilitarian aircraft. As the founder and Managing Partner of Shearwater since 2014, he has successfully navigated the complexities of the private debt landscape, leading two prominent private debt funds for different institutions and executing transactions across diverse regions, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Prior to his successful business career, Mr. Miller honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, where he held multiple roles as an F/A-18 pilot, Aircraft Maintenance Officer, and Aviation Safety Officer. His extensive background in aviation is complemented by his credentials as a commercial pilot and as an accredited “Senior Aircraft Appraiser” with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). Eddie Gross has almost 40 years of experience representing bank-affiliated, captive and independent financing providers and investors, as well as lessees and borrowers. in all aspects of aviation and other equipment finance transactions, including documenting, structuring, negotiating, syndicating and enforcing these transactions.

Eddie is considered an industry leader regarding the leasing and financing of all types of aviation assets, including fixed wing aircraft, helicopters and engine pools. Clients include market-leading aircraft and helicopter financing providers, investors and operating lessors, as well as large publicly or privately held businesses, governmental entities or high-net-worth individual lessees and borrowers. The business aircraft financed in these transactions include jets and turbo-prop aircraft operated primarily for the customer’s business purposes, or for transportation services including chartering, or pursuant to fractional or “pay card” arrangements. The financed helicopters are typically operated in various service capacities (e.g., air ambulances, oil and gas service, fire suppression, hauling, etc.) or for VIP, business or other transportation purposes. Brendan Lodge

Brendan is an experienced aviation professional as well as being an “ Accredited Senior Appraiser” (ASA) under the American Society of Appraisers.
After 18 years in Asset Finance Brendan joined the Lombard Aviation Unit in 2002 and joined the industry that he is passionate about.
In 2008 Brendan left the Banking & Finance sector when his employer Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Ltd went into administration and in 2009 he became an Aircraft Sales Broker working within the small team at JetBrokers Europe, where he significantly developed his knowledge, Skills & Experience within the Business Aviation Sector.
In 2016 Brendan left JetBrokers Europe to work on his own and in late 2017 he joined the great team at JSSI with the title “Advisory Services & Aircraft Acquisition Specialist”. During his time at JSSI Advisory Services Brendan became an Accredited Senior Appraiser under the American Society of Appraisers and was extensively involved in working with the Aircraft Appraisal Team with non-US clients providing Aircraft Valuation Appraisals and Aircraft Inspections for an array of clients including Banks, Lawyers, Aircraft Owners and Buyers and their Family Offices.
However, Brendan’s main role was at JSSI Parts & Leasing where he was responsible for Aircraft Acquisitions within a small team that was involved in the purchase of around 70 aircraft, mostly sourced for parts tear-down from numerous locations and different registers around the world.
In December 2024 Brendan retired from employed work at JSSI and formed his consultancy business with Richard Berkemeier, ASA of Pegasus Aircraft Appraisal Group, a well established appraiser in the USA. Together as partners they have established Pegasus Global Aircraft Appraisals to leverage the global appraisal market outside of the USA.
Additionally, In June 2025 Brendan proudly joined the team at International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) as Regional Director to support members in the International markets outside of the Americas.
Brendan now enjoys bringing many years of experience of aircraft transactions and advisory services to the sector and has an extensive contact list within the industry.
