Dassault Falcon has appointed Carlos Brana as the senior vice president for the company’s business jet operations at Teterboro Airport in New York.

John Rosanvallon, president and CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet, said: “Dassault Falcon Jet is evolving in anticipation of our customers’ needs in the coming decade.”

As a result, the company has created a new position, filled by Braga, which will oversee a number of strategic sales and support activities that will be critical to the company’s initiatives in the coming years.

“The creation of this new position will help us to achieve objectives that will further improve the customer experience. Carlos’ extensive experience with Dassault Aviation, first in France and then in the US, along with his proven track record as a respected member of Dassault’s management team, make him the ideal leader to step into this role,” added Rosanvallon.

In his new position, Brana will oversee the finance, customer service, contracts and specification/design departments as well as Dassault Aircraft Services (DAS), the company-owned service centre network.

Most recently, Brana served as Dassault’s vice president, contracts and specification, after assuming the position in 2008. Prior to joining Dassault Falcon, Brana worked for Dassault Aviation in France and later in the Middle East.

Brana graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Paris in 1982, where he received his engineering degree. He also holds an MBA from HEC (Hautes Études Commerciales).
