Modern Aviation breaks ground on 87,000sqft hangar complex at Meacham Airport

Modern Aviation said the investment underscores its long-term commitment to Meacham.
Modern Aviation said it has broken ground on a two-hangar complex at Meacham International Airport in Fort Worth, Texas, targeting completion in the first quarter of 2027.
The development on parcel 14C will total approximately 87,150sqft, comprising two 39,200sqft hangars each paired with a 4,375sqft office. Both hangars are designed to accommodate the largest business jets currently in service, while also expanding operational efficiency and customer service capabilities at the airport.
“We are proud to break ground on this new hangar complex in Fort Worth, which reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in the communities and airports we serve,” said Mark Carmen, president and CEO of Modern Aviation. “This project strengthens our ability to meet growing demand at Meacham International Airport and further enhances the exceptional service and facilities our customers expect from Modern Aviation”
The new facilities are intended to support rising demand in the Dallas-Fort Worth region and provide updated infrastructure for tenants and customers.
Modern Aviation said the investment underscores its long-term commitment to Meacham, where it already operates an existing FBO presence.
