World Helicopters buys Bond Aviation Group
Bond Aviation is bought by Grupo Inaer subsidiary
Bond Aviation Group has been acquired by World Helicopters for Eu300
million (£267 million). World Helicopters is part of Grupo Inaer. Bond Aviation
is one of the largest helicopter operators in the UK with a fleet of 40 helicopters.
The company operates in the North Sea and also provides emergency air ambulances
and police support all over the UK.
Grupo Inaer owns a number of other helicopter companies operating in
North Africa, Europe, Australia
and South America and currently has a total of 320
helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.
