The Swiss operator VistaJet’s now has a $2 billion order backlog with Bombardier.
“This latest order is in response to rapidly growing customer demand in the BRINC [Brazil, Russia, India, Nigeria and China] countries and other fast-growth developing markets in which we operate. These markets currently account for over 75% of all our flights,” said Thomas Flohr, founder and chairman of VistaJet.
VistaJet received three new Challenger 605 aircraft last month and will take delivery of six new Learjet 60XR by the end of the year. It sells all aircraft before they are three years old.
The company says it will operate 60 aircraft by 2015, doubling its existing fleet.
