Vertis clients benefit from US exemption

Switzerland-based Vertis Aviation announces that it’s operating partner, Germany headquartered K5-Aviation GmbH has received its US Border Overflight Exemption (BOE) for flights returning to the United States from south of the border.

This exemption which is effective immediately includes flights arriving into the USA from the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America and French Polynesia.

Vertis clients will benefit by avoiding lengthy delays at busy border airports of entry.

Jeffery Emmenis, partner at Vertis Aviation said: “Our operating partner’s BOE is a valuable asset in improving operational flexibility. K5-Aviation worked with the US authorities over a three month period to secure the exemption certificate.
