Tsinghua Holdings acquires Sino Jet

Tsinghua Holdings Industry Investment Fund has acquired Hong Kong-based private jet management company Sino Jet Management.
Although the terms of the deal have not been announced, Tsinghua will keep the Sino Jet brand as it currently is, and use its own management and market resources to support Sino Jet’s continued growth.
Founded in 2011 by Jenny Lau, chairman and CEO, Sino Jet Management currently looks after a fleet of 15 aircraft that includes Gulfstream G450s and G550s, Challenger 605s and a Legacy 650 that the company manages on behalf of action movie starr Jackie Chan.
Earlier in the year, in an interview with China Daily, Lau said that 80 per cent of her company’s clients are either businessmen or celebrities who are based on the Chinese mainland.
Tsinghua Holdings already owns Beijing-based operator Big White Bear Jet, with a fleet that includes a Gulfstream G450, a Gulfstream G200 and a Bombardier Global 5000.
Elsewhere in China, Minsheng International Jet completed the acquisition of Business Aviation Asia to become largest managed fleet operator in China, with a combined fleet of over 60 managed aircraft.
