Thrive Aviation to launch fractional ownership programme with Arulean Air

Thrive Aviation announced a strategic partnership and minority investment from Arulean Air, a subsidiary of Honda Aircraft Company, establishing the foundation for a new fractional ownership platform, the Las Vegas-based company said.

The program will initially operate two aircraft types: the HondaJet HA-420 in the light jet category and the Bombardier Challenger 3500 in the super-midsize category.

Thrive will operate and manage the programme, including client relationships and flight operations, while Arulean Air will acquire aircraft to support the program as it scales. Thrive has received the first two aircraft and expects to add approximately four to six HA-420s and two to four Challenger 3500s annually as the program grows.

“Adding fractional ownership opportunities enables Thrive Aviation to serve a broad spectrum of clients throughout their entire private aviation journey – from private charters to fractional ownership to full ownership,” said Curtis Edenfield, co-founder and CEO of Thrive Aviation. “We’re building another major piece of the Thrive platform and something we expect to scale for a long time.”

The fractional program adds to Thrive’s existing services, which include on-demand charter, aircraft management, jet card memberships and aircraft maintenance, drawing on the company’s existing fleet of more than 30 aircraft.

Founded in 2018, Thrive says it has become one of the world’s 10 largest private jet operators.

Full programme details are expected to be introduced at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas, October 20–22.
