The CJI Interview: Michimasa Fujino, Honda Aircraft

Corporate Jet Investor sat down with Honda Aircraft president and CEO Michimasa Fujino at the recent NBAA to talk about HondaJet entering the Chinese market.

Honda gave the aircraft its Asian debut earlier in the year, at the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE), and Fujino says that the interest he saw while there convinced him that it was the right time to open up a sales office in China.

Fujino goes on to explain about the partnership that HondaJet formed with Guangzhou-based Honsan General Aviation to provide sales services in China, Hong Kong and Macau.

Towards the end of the video, the talk turns to the possibility of a bigger HondaJet in the future, with Fujino saying that the original HondaJet was designed with the future in mind, and that the fuselage was designed to be able to be stretched.
