Textron acquires Mistequay Group to support Cessna and Beechcraft lines

Textron Aviation has acquired special component maker, Mistequay Group to support its Cessna and Beechcraft product lines. The firm will now operate as AeroMotion and is to be integrated into Textron’s global operations.

Textron senior vice president, Operations, Brad White said: “I’m thrilled to have the employees from Mistequay join the Textron Aviation team. By working collaboratively, we will create growth opportunities and offer value that benefits our workforce and the customers we support each day.”

Mistequay is a supplier of precision components for aerospace and defence manufacturers. The 200-strong firm, founded in 1991, specialises in ball screw assemblies, gear systems and actuator components.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
