Spirit signs G550 communications suite upgrade
Spirit Aeronautics has signed an agreement with a confidential customer to provide advanced communication upgrades on their Gulfstream G550.

“This project combines advanced Air-to-Ground (ATG) and Air-to-Satellite technologies in addition to Satellite Television to ensure the client remains connected at all times and aware of current world events no matter where they are operating. It is an amazing suite of technology that is being further combined with interior upgrades to make it one of the most advanced Gulfstream G550’s in the world!” added Bailey.
The project installs the Gogo ATG-4000 Air-to-Ground communication system, the Honeywell AIS-2000 Satellite Television system and the Honeywell HD-710 Satcom system which will be married up to the existing Satellite-based Broadband Multilink (BBML) system interfaced to an amazing array of network peripherals.
In addition, Spirit Aeronautics is installing the Satcom Direct SDR Router and Gogo OnePhones.
