Skyservice gains EASA approval for Gogo Galileo HDX connectivity on Challenger 604/605/650

The Galileo HDX system delivers LEO satellite broadband with global coverage.
Skyservice Business Aviation has received EASA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval to install the Gogo Galileo HDX inflight connectivity system on Bombardier Challenger 604, 605 and 650 aircraft.
The approval opens the upgrade to operators across Europe and other EASA-regulated markets.
The certification adds EASA to an existing approval stack that already covers the FAA, Transport Canada, and Brazil’s ANAC. Skyservice said this gives it one of the broadest regulatory pathways in the industry for Galileo HDX installations on the Challenger platform.
“This milestone ensures operators can adopt next-generation LEO connectivity with confidence, regardless of where their aircraft are based or operated,” said Benjamin Murray, President & CEO of Skyservice.
The Galileo HDX system delivers low-earth orbit satellite broadband with global coverage.
Operators can have the system installed at Skyservice’s MRO facilities in Toronto, Montréal, and Vancouver, or purchase installation kits to complete the work at their own maintenance location.
