Gogo Galileo HDX receives FAA certification for Gulfstream G650, G650ER

Gogo sold 50 GEO units in the first half of 2026.
Gulfstream Aerospace has received an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate to install Gogo’s Galileo HDX connectivity system on the G650 and G650ER.
The HDX is an electronically steered antenna running on Eutelsat’s OneWeb low earth orbit network, offering high-speed, low-latency connectivity including video conferencing, streaming and internet browsing across multiple simultaneous devices.
“The addition of Gogo Galileo HDX as an aftermarket option for the G650 and G650ER reflects the growing demand for high-speed connectivity and provides operators with the latest technology in business aviation,” said Chris Moore, CEO of Gogo.
“Operators using this system will experience consistent, high-speed inflight internet performance, backed by Gogo’s cybersecurity protections and 24/7/365 customer support.”
Gulfstream’s tail-mounted installation keeps the antenna under the radome, minimising downtime during installation and complementing the aircraft’s existing design.
The system is backwards compatible with existing network equipment, integrated with the cabin, and approved for multiple radomes for added flexibility.
The certification follows Gogo’s recent STC approval for the Galileo HDX on the Dassault Falcon 7X and 8X, continuing the system’s expansion across large and ultra-long-range business jet platforms.
