The two companies have also agreed a Service Level Agreement, where Eclipse can use Sikorsky’s supply chain support and parts distribution systems. Sikorsky will also help Eclipse restart production.
“With this agreement we now have it all — a phenomenal fuel efficient twin-engine jet, an enthusiastic customer base, and a fantastic engineering, support and service staff, all coupled with the depth, experience, and strength of Sikorsky Aircraft,” said Mason Holland, CEO of Eclipse Aerospace.
Eclipse Aerospace is delivering Total Eclipse twin-engine jets with upgraded flight management systenms, colour weather radar and de-icing capabilities and hopes to restart production soon.
