Derek Zimmerman appointed vice president at Gulfstream

Gulfstream Aerospace has named Derek
Zimmerman to the newly created position of vice president, product support
materials. 

Zimmerman will oversee the material supply chain, parts sales
and worldwide parts distribution for Gulfstream’s product support organisation.
 He reports to Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream Product Support.

Zimmerman came to Gulfstream from Vero Beach, Florida,
where he had been vice president, supply chain and aftermarket development, for
Piper Aircraft since 2009.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in
international operations from the University
of Minnesota and holds a master’s
degree in business administration from Auburn University.
