American Eurocopter beefs up sales and marketing team

Sales and marketing team is strengthened with two new regional marketing managers and two new segment directors

American Eurocopter has announced the
appointments of four new key members of their sales and marketing team.

“Our sales team consists of Regional
Marketing Managers and Market Segment experts. They are our customers’ direct
contact to American Eurocopter,” said American Eurocopter vice president of sales,
Treg Manning. “Our goal is to have the talent in place that enables us to be a
valued resource to our customers and to provide them with the best business
solutions.”

The newest members of American Eurocopter’s
Regional Marketing Team are Kris DeSoto and Glenn Murray. “We are excited to
have Kris and Glenn join the team. They bring tremendous experience to our
organization and will help us enhance our coverage of the United States in order to provide
vital customer interface.”

DeSoto, is the new regional marketing manager
for the Northeast region, brings five years of sales experience in the
aerospace industry and eight years of experience in new business development in
the United States, Latin
America and Australia..
DeSoto earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and
Marketing from University of Texas at Arlington
and his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and
Small Business Management from Southern Methodist University.

Murray is the new regional marketing manager for the Midwest region. He is a retired US Marine Corps attack
helicopter pilot and commanding officer. Murray
has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science from the United
States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian
University.

In addition to the regional marketing managers,
American Eurocopter recently added Don Baenen as director, oil and gas marketing
and Patrice Royer as director, business and private aviation.

Baenen has significant industry experience
with the oil and gas industry, having most recently been a global aviation specialist
with BHP Billiton Minerals Exploration..Baenen served with the US Army as a
UH-60 Black Hawk pilot-in-command, aviation safety officer and master army aviator. 
He is a licensed Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and has over 10,000 flight
hours, including time in the BO105, B205/212/412 and S-76.

Royer comes from Eurocopter where he was the
global director of market development for the business aviation, private and commercial
segment. His development and worldwide industry expertise will help us focus
our efforts and expand the Eurocopter fleet in this segment.

“Kris, Glenn, Don and Patrice are joining a
team that has brought us to the top of the industry,” Manning said. “All the
members of our Sales team are dedicated to enhancing the customer experience
from the initial stages through delivery and throughout the life of their
helicopter. It is this commitment, plus combined knowledge and expertise that
is going to keep us there.”
