Nextant 400XT to display at Durban
First visit to Africa and includes a debut at the Durban Air Show
Nextant Aerospace announced
that it will be displaying the 400XT on a tour of South African venues,
including the Durban Air Show, a leading global aviation showcase.
The tour of the Nextant 400XT is being coordinated by Nextant Aerospace’s
exclusive African dealership partner, National Airways Corporation (NAC).
The 400XT, which saw its
first deliveries in October 2011, has a range of 3,713 km (2,005 nautical
miles) with four passengers and NBAA IFR Reserves, enabling flights originating
in South Africa to reach
major destinations in Kenya,
Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo
traveling nonstop.

The Nextant 400XT uses a remanufactured Beechjet 400A/XP airframe that is
enhanced with new, state-of-the-art technology including the Williams FJ44-3AP
turbofan engine, the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21TM integrated avionics suite,
advanced electronics, including high-speed wireless Internet service, and
completely rebuilt interiors.
