NICHOLAS AIR has launched its 10-Year Anniversary Jet Card by awarding a personal jet card to senior captain Robert ‘Rob’ Milner as he recently completed his 10th year with the company.
The anniversary jet card is issued to reward the operator’s longest-serving aviators. Under the new programme, pilots reaching a decade with NICHOLAS AIR are awarded their own card, with five interchangeable flight hours valued at about $50,000.
The award is a level up from its 5-year “Rolex recognition” initiative.
Brian Portera, chief pilot of NICHOLAS AIR told us: “NICHOLAS AIR is always looking for new and meaningful ways to celebrate the people who are the backbone of this company. Recognising those who have served at the highest levels of performance is a natural evolution of our culture. In honour of Captain Milner’s 10 years of service, he has been awarded a personal jet card with five interchangeable flight hours across the NICHOLAS AIR fleet, valued at approximately $50,000.”
Milner is a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military career, he served as a flight instructor, flew specialised pipeline patrols in a Cessna Caravan and managed corporate operations in the Pilatus PC-12.
Milner joined the operator in 2016 as a PC-12 Captain, subsequently moving to the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 airframes as the fleet evolved. He is based in Houston, Texas, alongside his wife Karin and their three daughters.
“Our pilots are the backbone of the NICHOLAS AIR experience,” added Portera. “The 10-Year Anniversary Jet Card Program is our way of thanking elite and tenured captains like Rob Milner. We are proud to welcome him as an official member.”
