Metrojet Engineering Clark has been awarded a Maintenance Approval Certificate by the Bailiwick of Guernsey’s director of Civil Aviation.

Effective from the end of June 2025, the accreditation recognises Metrojet’s commitment to meeting the required support standards for aircraft registered under the Bailiwick of Guernsey’s registry (2-reg).

“We are honoured to receive this certificate from the Bailiwick of Guernsey DCA,” said Rudgen Guzman, general manager of Metrojet Engineering Clark. “This achievement reflects the hard work and professionalism of our team and serves as a reminder of our ongoing responsibility to uphold the highest standards of safety, transparency, and service excellence. We sincerely appreciate the Bailiwick of Guernsey DCA for the guidance and support throughout the certification process.”

Based out of the Philippines, Metrojet Engineering Clark provides aircraft maintenance and engineering services in the Asia-Pacific region. It operates from a 7,100 m2 hangar providing both hangar and ramp parking and a fully authorised repair station.

As well as the 2-reg announcement, Metrojet Engineering Clark also has approvals from civil aviation authorities of The Philippines, US, Isle of Man, San Marino, Qatar, Korea, Indonesia and the Cayman Islands.

First launched in December 2013, Guernsey’s state-backed aircraft registry has registered over 1,000 aircraft in its 12-year existence.

Speaking in the wake of 2-reg’s 10-year anniversary back in 2023, Matt Bisson, 2-reg’s Aircraft Registrar said: “2-reg operates at zero cost to the States of Guernsey and presents a low commercial risk with a manageable reputational impact, offering significant benefits to local businesses. The company has created access to the aerospace sector for Guernsey’s financial and legal services that previously did not exist.”
