Davis named head of Gulfstream government contracts

Joanne Davis has been appointed director, government contracts at Gulfstream

Joanne Davis has been appointed director: government contracts, at Gulfstream Aerospace.

Gulfstream says she is responsible for leading its US and international government programmes and sales. This includes head-of-state, multi-mission and special mission aircraft sales as well as aircraft modification, maintenance and support services.

She reports to Jim Dempsey, vice president: sustaining and government programmes.

Davis is moving from General Dynamics Land Systems where she worked for nine years, most recently as a contracts manager negotiating high value international contracts. She joined General Dynamics, the parent company of Gulfstream, from General Motors.
