service centre earns approved maintenance organisation status

Gulfstream Dallas service centreGulfstream has announced that the service
centre in Dallas, recently earned approved
maintenance organization (AMO) designations from Mexico
and Brazil.

The authorizations mean that aircraft
registered under Mexico’s
Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil (DGAC) and Brazil’s National Civil Aviation
Agency (ANAC) can undergo maintenance, repairs, alterations and inspections at
the Dallas Love Field facility.

Gulfstream Dallas is the first company-owned
service center to earn AMO status from the DGAC.  It joins the West Palm Beach, Florida
service centre as ANAC-authorized facilities.

“Being able to service nearly the entire Mexico and Brazil-based Gulfstream fleet in Dallas is very
significant,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream Product Support.  “We
have more than 90 aircraft in both countries combined, and the fleet continues
to grow.”
