Gulfstream begin outfitted G650 deliveries from Long Beach

Gulfstream has delivered an outfitted G650 directly from its Long Beach completion center for the first time.

Gulfstream has completed the first customer delivery directly from its Long Beach completions center.

The US-based business jet manufacturer now has three completions centers online, with the ability to deliver aircraft directly from Long Beach California, Appleton Wisconsin, and its Savannah home-base.

G650 MSN 6053 / N2N was delivered to its new owner Marmalade Skies LLC via a quick stop in tax free Oregon, to complete the sales transaction.

N2N was the favored registration of the late Steve Jobs, and his widow Laurene Powell Jobs, is believed to be the true owner of the new G650.

Gulfstream have delivered eight G650s so far in 2014, five to US customers, and on each to customers in Denmark, Saudi Arabia and the UK.
