FlightSafety expands Cessna aircraft training in three centres
FlightSafety makes additions to facilities in three states in the US.
FlightSafety International is expanding its training facilities for Cessna aircraft at Orlando in Florida, San Antonio in Texas and Wichita in Kansas.
“We are pleased to now offer training for the full line of Citation XL series aircraft in Orlando, and to add simulators for the Citation CJ2+ in San Antonio, and the Cessna Caravan equipped with a Garmin G600 avionics suite in Wichita,” said Steve Gross, vice president, sales. “This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to provide owners and operators of Cessna aircraft with conveniently located, high quality training programmes using advanced technology simulators.”
The Orlando learning centre now offers training for the Citation XLS+ using a simulator equipped with a Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite. The centre also offers training using 11 full flight simulators. They include the Citation Bravo, Citation CJ2, Citation CJ3, Citation Encore, Citation Mustang, Citation Sovereign, Citation X, Citation XL, Citation XLS, and Citation XLS+.
Training for the Citation CJ2+ is now available at the San Antonio learning centre. This is the only dedicated Citation CJ2+ simulator available worldwide. The centre offers training for the Citation II, Citation SII, Citation III/VI Citation CJ, Citation CJI, Citation CJ2+, Citation Ultra, and Citation XL.
A new Level D qualified Cessna Caravan simulator equipped with a Garmin G600 avionics suite has been installed at the Cessna learning centre in Wichita. The centre also provides training for the Citation VII, Citation CJ3, Citation CJ4, Citation Encore, Citation Encore+, Citation Mustang, Citation Sovereign, Citation X, Citation XLS, and Citation XLS+.
FlightSafety has been the official factory authorised training organisation for the Cessna Aircraft Company since 1979. The company has 45 Cessna aircraft flight simulators at learning centres in the US, France and the UK.
