New FBO will open in Riga in August 2015

FBO RIGA Business Aviation Centre at Riga International Airport in Latvia will start operations in August 2015.

Flight Consulting Group, a Latvian business aviation company, is close to completing the final construction stage of the new FBO, which is set to be one of the biggest FBO facilities in the EU and the Baltics.

FBO RIGA Business Aviation Centre business has a passenger terminal and a heated hangar with offices, separate storage and workshops.

The hangar has been specially designed with the capacity of up to five Boeing Business Jets or nine Gulfstream-550s. Flight Consulting Group is also planning to launch MRO services including aircraft cleaning at the new FBO facility.

Flight Consulting Group is a private company owned by two Latvians, Roman Starkov and Leonid Gorodnitski.

The company was founded in 2000 and it provides solutions for business aviation including ground handling, flight supervision, worldwide flight planning and support, charter sales, aircraft sales and acquisition and aviation consulting.
