Execujet St Thomas completes FBO terminal rebuild

Execujet Flight Services has completed the rebuild of its FBO terminal at Cyril E. King Airport on the island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands.
No to be confused with Luxaviation Group’s FBO chain Execujet, the firm is one of three FBOs located at Cyril E. King Airport about 30-minutes from the capital Charlotte Amalie.
The 18-month project replaces Execujet’s former terminal which was deemed to be damaged beyond repair following hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017.
Roy Romney, operations manager at Execujet, said: “Clients reserve with us for seamless execution and personalised support, and we’re thrilled to serve them in a modern space fitted for peace and privacy.”
The new facility, which runs partly on solar power, includes a crew lounge, private restroom with a shower, full kitchen and a flight planning station. Crews also have access to crew cars to explore the island during layovers.
The terminal features a ramped walkway that connects the main lobby to the vehicle parking area on the airfield. It also benefits from 24-hour police and video surveillance.
According to Execujet, the FBO’s airside design allows for direct apron access, accommodating aircraft of all sizes, GPU hook-ups and passenger drop-off zones.
The facility opening hours are 7:00am to 7:00om daily, however its team and services – including fuelling and concierge support – are available 24/7 on demand.
